Hey gals. I ended my search for shoes today & there are two places I'd recommend:
Nordstroms in Perimeter. Selection of about 8 pairs including pumps & sandals. I picked a pair of cute closed toe sandals that have a 'comfort sole' for about $75. Some of the other shoes were $60 & some were over $100.If you're looking for a good deal on shoes, I'd recommend looking at Sam & Libby in Perimeter. They had a good selection of white satin shoes for around $49. I didn't think $75 was bad for a cute, comfortable pair of shoes, but maybe that's just me. They are Nina-comfort or something like that.

I really liked Nina ones also, but I didn't find any rounded toe ones. It was either open toe, or pointy. Oh well, it is too late now, mine are already purchased. | | Sarah | Posted - 12 January 2000 13:46

I've seen several pairs of holiday shoes in a style I really like - square closed toe, square heel, sling-back - and have looked tirelessly for a similar style in white. If anyone else is looking for this style, I finally found a pair at Saks (in Tampa; haven't checked here yet, but I'm sure they'll have them). They're made by Anne Klein, and the style is called "Create." They are a little on the pricey side, $142, but if you get desperate, you know where to find them...and they really are quite elegant.
